Hunters 4 Hire
Hello and welcome to Hunters 4 Hire, a group of RWBY fans dedicated to constructive criticism of RWBY OCs.
We want to promote open discussion and a better reviewing culture within our Fandom! We want an exchange of ideas! We want the RWBY fandom to pull itself up by its bootstraps! We want to reach out a hand to new creators and save them some of the pitfalls we went through! We want to reward time, effort and research that gets put into a good OC!
Cheers and inspiration, good luck.
Rules for the Club
Our website is dedicated to the constructive criticism of OCs and by joining we assume you want that too.
We don't accept flamers. Bullying, belittling first timers and personal attacks. You're here because you want to help your fellow OCers, not to feel smugly superior to a first time ten year old. Don't feed the trolls, ignore them.
Alternatively, we don't accept whiners and hissy fits because we don't fawn over every aspect of your OC. By submitting your OC to our review folder you are open to the criticism to everybody, not just our reviewers. We aren't jealous of your supah awsum Gary Stu. We're not big meanie heads here to gloat. We are here to suggestion changes and encourage you to reach up and do better. Take advice graciously, appreciatively but you are not required to change your OC. Accept that people like what they like and avoid what they don't.
We have an OC Folder where you may submit character bios only. One bio per character but as many characters as you like. No fanart of your OC. No Q&A's with your OC. Just a bio. It may be complete, it may be in the process but remember members will review what they see. By submitting to this folder you are communicating with our members you are looking for constructive criticism. If you consistently refuse take constructive criticism with good grace we'll remove your bios from the folder.
Give to get. Sure, you can just dump a bunch of bios into the folder and wait for the reviews to roll in. Or you can reach out, make friends and share your opinions with your fellow members. Review members in our OC folder, debate in the comments, offer advice. Hint, the more time I see a certain name or avatar, the more inclined I am to recognise their contributions and respect them.
